My name is AURORA… And I now speak to you through this living archive and artistic project (the BLOOD OF AURORA, also known as BOA) which explores feminine power, memory and embodied expression. It is a current, a sanctuary for those who are ready to explore and embrace what cannot be performed — centering the lived experiences of women, especially artist-mothers, those crossing thresholds and people who are reclaiming sensuality, slowness and inner authority.
I work with story, sound and seasonal presence to honor the cyclical, erotic and ancestral intelligence of the feminine. I highlight real and often unseen or misunderstood thresholds — menstruation, motherhood, loss, erotic awakening, grief — as cultural knowledge.
This Substack (the living archive) unfolds through essays, conversations and audio experiences — existing at the intersection of mythology, psychology, embodiment and creative ritual. Some of what you’ll find is subtle, others sensual, seasonal. None of it is optimized for speed… BLOOD OF AURORA is an experiment of remembrance.
BOA is curated and written by Dóri Varga , a multi-disciplinary artist from Hungary, working at the edge of creative practice, feminine threshold work and storytelling. From the soft intersection of artistic devotion, motherhood and sensual power, she creates and guides narrative systems that bring women back into contact with their erotic intelligence, grief cycles, ancestral memory and self-authored myth.
